Guildhall Ward, York


Door 84 is a Youth Club and registered charity based in The Groves, York – one of the most diverse areas in the City. Providing activities for young people aged 8-25.

We provide a programme of youth work and play based activities to encourage personal development for young people aged 8-25.

Since re-opening in March 2011, we have now over 900 registered young people from all across York and surrounding areas, from 33 different schools/colleges and some NEET (Not in education or Training), accessing the Youth Club over the three evenings we are open and on more occasions if needed.
Youth Club Session
We run five sessions every week;
8-17 year olds, 5.30 – 7.30pm
16-25 years olds 7.45 – 9.15pm
8-12 year olds, 5.30 – 7.30pm
13-17 year olds, 6.30 – 8.30pm
Boys group 11-17 year olds 5.30-6.30pm
Girls group 11-17 year olds 5.30-6.30pm

Door 84 is open throughout the year apart from Bank Holidays and two weeks over the Christmas Holidays.
On the occasion that we go on trips, we may close the session but prior notice will be published.
We have a Tuck shop selling snacks and drinks, but we also have free water and fruit & veg sticks available at all times.
