Senior Imps (Inclusive Music Project)

Westfield, York

Imps is an inclusive music group where you can learn to sing and sign, use musical instruments, write your own songs, take part in public performances and, most importantly, have fun and make friends.

The IMPs Seniors (age 11-25) meet every Monday in term time from 6.00-7.30pm

IMPs members include children with a range of disabilities, siblings and friends of disabled members and children who simply love making music with friends. You don’t need any previous musical experience and we support everyone to get involved and express themselves in the way that works best for them. Singing and signing is a fun way to build confidence and develop skills in communication and music making. Singing in a group is also a great way to make new friends! Some young people come to IMPs independently and others come with a carer or support worker. Please feel free to contact us to discuss your individual support needs. Please contact us on 01904 626965 or at imps@aamedia.org.uk
