Books for Amnesty sells donated books to raise funds for Amnesty International UK. The books are sold through our 7 shops, at book fairs, and online.
We train and manage volunteers giving them real work experience and roles that require varying levels of decision making.
Shop floor work: handling cash and serving customers - culling old stock and replacing with new, pricing books - tidying around and making sure the sections are correctly filled and spaced -
Stock room work: researching books online, pricing books, sorting donations, preparing for book fairs, organising back up stock for the shop floor, data entry for online sales, processing online sales for postage.
