Yadda - York And District Dyslexia Association

Haxby and Wigginton Ward, York


York and District Dyslexia Association is a volunteer support group for children, young people, adults and families affected by dyslexia, dyspraxia, dyscalculia, ADHD and related specific learning difficulties.
We meet every week for a coffee and chat and
We host a once a month ‘family chill out’ session.
Children's activities (to build confidence and self-esteem) are planned throughout the year.
Annual membership fee. We have a dedicated adult only meeting to support Neurodiversity. The York Adult Neurodiversity Network – YANN.
We have a dedicated befriending service and offer a "not for profit" screening/ assessment service for all ages. Our befriending line is available 24 hours and we usually respond within 48 hours. emails and webpage queries may take upto 5-7 days dependent on volunteer availability so please share that with any potential enquiries.
