You don’t need to wait until you cannot cope before speaking to a professional. We all go through periods in our life when we feel sad, anxious or stressed. When these feelings start to get in the way of our daily life or impact upon our relationships with the people around we may need some extra support. Knowing how or who to ask for help can be hard, but it’s important that we don’t keep these feeling to ourselves.

The Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families provides therapy services for young people aged 12 – 18 years. We have team of friendly and professionally trained clinical staff with years of experience helping with a range of problems.
We provide a range of different types of support for children, young people, parents and their families. These include:
•Low mood or depression
•Difficulty managing your thoughts, feelings or behaviour
•Distressing or traumatic events
•Experience of abuse
•Struggling with family or peer relationships
•Suicidal thoughts
•Self-harm
